Sarojini Nagar Market is the Famous market in DELHI NCR. It wouldn't be wrong to say it's a girls market or Delhi girls Heaven. So be it your College fests , fresher's party , any festive occasion. The only shopping place which comes in our minds is SAROJINIIIII..........BHAIYAAA SAROJINI CHALOGE!!!!!!

As soon as you step out of the Metro Station ,you might find yourself in the most difficult situation.In a mad rush to get passengers hire their auto.You might get hounded by Auto wallas.

And After you finally choose one,it's a sharing auto.Rs 10/person.

Basically these are branded clothes but rejected ones. Like ZARA,MANGO,VERO MODA. SN is always updated with trendy fashionable clothes,shoes,bags,hair accessories,junk jewellery etc.

This market is open for bargaining. Even if you are new to this market and not good at bargaining. You can still manage to drop down the price.(Time to check your bargaining skills!!!).

Always carry a big Tote bag as it would be more convenient.
Always carry a water bottle as all that shopping in this scorching heat will dehydrate you.
Clothes are branded but rejected ones,so you might find minor defects or missing buttons.check before you buy.
Visit this market on weekdays.As it's very crowded during weekends.
Best time to visit this market is during mornings after 10 am.( Boni time a social Custom in north India). This is also a good reason to get hands on best items at negotiated price.
Always check for size while buying tops ,dresses etc.
In case of buying jeans there's always a problem related to its fitting.As there are no changing rooms.(But before you buy always ask the vendor whether , he would exchange in case it's not of his/her size and don't forget to ask for shop no).
yes yes....this market has good quality items.But have patience and take time.
No matter how badly you want to buy something never show your interest.First drop down to 50 percent of the price.If the bhaiyya is still stubborn,then just walk away.There's a 90 percent chance BHAIYA will call you back. GOOD LUCK!

HAUZ KHAS WAS BUILT BY ALLAUDDIN KHILJI DURING 1296-1316.

What does the name literally mean?? Hauz(lake)...khas(royal).
One pleasant sunday , I decided to visit to Hauz Khas Village. HKV is in South Delhi.The nearest metro station is green park and hauz khas .

Be it a Delhite or an outsider everyone is smitten over Hauz khas for many things, but I personally love it for its lake(adding the beauty of this place) and its flora and fauna.

So the first time I explored this place was during my college days. This place used to be our favourite hangout spot.I am sure students of south campus could relate to it.

Why this place is different?
HKV attracts many of youngsters,tourists aswell. Although any age group can come here and spend a quality time.
This place is filled with young energy where you will see youngsters indulging in sports ,playing tunes on guitar ,practicing dancing or simply doing photography.

So on my this visit everything was pretty much the same but one new thing that I noticed was the installation of an outdoor gym in the park. Working out with the panoramic view is a bliss!.

HKV is an expensive place but you also have the option of lip smacking roadside street food available in affordable price like .....momos ,rolls,kulfis,gol gappas ,ram ladoos etc.(sabka jugaad hai).

The view of the lake was breathtaking .Where you will see swans sailing in the lake .Couples can have a great time as aura of this place will bring out the romance. (remember guys?scene from the Bollywood movie MS DHONI).

Things you surely cant miss out is the graffiti wall (admire ,applaud the artists then turn into a selfie queen ).

Next to the haus khas village is the deer park housing deers, peacocks and rabbits.
This place will surely give you peace from the hustle bustle of city life
(finally!my lungs can breathe) .
just adjacent to deer park is rose garden with beautiful roses and having lush green lawns.Perfect place to relax!.
